Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of caftanium.com and the Caftanium services by anyone who visits it ("you").

By browsing the site or creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

What Caftanium does

Caftanium is a discovery and matchmaking platform. It helps you find caftans, takchitas and traditional outfits offered for rent or sale by independent boutiques, and then contact those boutiques or send them a request.

Caftanium is neither the seller nor the lessor of the pieces shown. Every rental, purchase, fitting and payment takes place directly between you and the boutique, in store. Caftanium collects no payment, delivers no piece and holds no deposit.

Account

Searching is free and needs no account. An account is required to save favourites, send a request to a boutique or post a review.

• You provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Your password is personal: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us at contact@caftanium.com if you believe your account was used without your consent.

Requests sent to boutiques

A rental, purchase or fitting request is not a guaranteed booking: it stays pending until the boutique confirms it. Prices, availability, deposits and conditions shown are supplied by the boutique, which alone is responsible for their accuracy.

When you send a request or contact a boutique (including by WhatsApp or phone), the details it needs to answer you are passed on to that boutique.

Reviews and content

Reviews must reflect a real experience with the boutique or the piece. The following are forbidden:

• false, misleading, abusive, hateful, threatening or discriminatory content;
• other people's personal information (numbers, addresses, photos without consent);
• advertising, commercial links and reviews written by a boutique about its own pieces.

Caftanium may moderate, hide or remove any content that breaks these rules. You can report content to contact@caftanium.com.

Fair use

You may not disrupt the service, extract its data in bulk (bots, scraping), bypass its security measures or use it to send unsolicited messages.

In case of breach, Caftanium may suspend or close the account concerned.

Intellectual property

The Caftanium brand, the site and its design belong to their publisher. Photos and descriptions of pieces belong to the boutiques, which warrant that they hold the rights to them. Any reproduction without permission is prohibited.

Liability

Caftanium strives to offer a reliable service and verified boutiques, but is not a party to the contracts concluded between you and the boutiques. The quality, condition and conformity of pieces, fittings, handover, return, deposits and refunds are the responsibility of the boutique concerned (see the return policy).

The service may be interrupted for maintenance or in case of force majeure.

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. They are governed by Moroccan law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action before the competent courts of the Kingdom of Morocco.
